My little girl just turned 8. She was thrilled to be able to help me with this review of Little Cosmetics pretend makeup. We received the Little Cosmetics Essential Set. Everything a little girl needs for playing with. The Essential Set comes with the following:

Makeup Brush Set
This makeup looks so real. The brush set is just like the one I used but kid size. My daughter loves that she has makeup “just like Mom”. I love that this set allows her to “pretend” without it actually showing up on her skin. I don’t have to worry about a mess after playtime is over.
As you can see here she loves applying lip gloss. The applicator really rolls on her lips.
Her favorite item out of the essentials set was the brushes. All though Little Cosmetics is pretend makeup and really doesn’t apply it does encourage creative play which is my favorite thing about it. Not only can she pretend to apply makeup on herself but she can play with her friends. Even our family dog has had a makeover. 
All of the Little Cosmetics items fit right in her little purse. She takes them along with her when we leave. If I need to touch up my make up so does she.
What a great way to encourage our daughters minds through role play!
